Getting connected to the UK IPv6 academic network

We are not yet offering "official" IPv6 connectivity to the pilot IPv6 network. However, you are welcome to email the project coordinator for information and a temporary connection.

The subject of wider IPv6 network access for UK academic sites is being discussed with UKERNA during October. We hope to announce connectivity services soon, at the latest by November 2001.

Connecting sites can expect to be allocated a /48 network from the JANET 2001:0630::/35 SubTLA address space.

The Bermuda 2 project is funded by the JISC and managed by UKERNA.
For further information, please e-mail the project coordinator.
